A Magical Fairytale at Hawkstone Hall Wedding – Jess & Daniel

Yesterday I had the absolute honour of photographing and filming Jess and Daniel’s wedding at the breathtaking Hawkstone Hall & Gardens. Honestly, it felt like stepping straight into a fairytale.

From the moment I arrived, everything was perfection. The weather couldn’t have been more wonderful, soft cloud cover for dreamy portraits, and then, as if by magic, the sun broke through just in time to give us the most golden, glowing sunset around 8pm during cocktail hour.

Jess and Daniel’s love story began ten years ago when they met at university, and yesterday was the celebration of a decade spent growing, laughing, and loving together. Their families were so warm and welcoming, and the speeches had everyone in tears, me included.

The entire day was full of pure joy, love, live music, and dancing! The staff were flawless, making everything flow so seamlessly. And the incredible suppliers who brought the day to life….Truly the best in the business.

I can’t even explain how grateful I feel to be doing this as my career. To be trusted to capture days like this, the emotion, the beauty, the love, it’s honestly everything I could ever dream of doing, personally and creatively. It still hits me so hard just how lucky I am to call this my job. I’m actually jusy crying writing this. Honestly so greatful and lucky but honestly I have worked my ass off for 6 years to get here but it’s honestly been so worth the blood sweat and tears. Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me why I started and why I’ll never stop.

Hawkstone Hall is such a vast, majestic venue, with so many stunning spaces to cover, I definitely got my step count in and I do apologise to all the guests and everyone involved for being a hot sweaty mess all day. Honestly, four coffees isn’t enough this morning. it was non-stop from morning until night but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Days like this are what I live for!
